I am a new customer and wanted to write about my first experience here. We recently had a death in the family and my son needed his suit in a hurry for the. funeral. The cleaners that I had been using for years would not help me out. I came to Hom’s one hour before closing and asked if they could help me out and just steam the suit, so my son could wear it in the morning. The gentleman (maybe the owner) said, ” no problem”. He acted like it was no big deal at all. It was so kind of him to treat me that way, being that I wasn’t even a customer. Well, all I can say is now I am!

I just picked up my very delicate custom silk drapes which I brought to Homs to be dry cleaned. They did an impeccable job! I have used this business to Taylor a dress in the past and they had done a fabulous job which led me to use them again. I can’t say enough about how reliable this cleaners is. Also their prices are the best around. I highly recommend them!

I’ve lived in Dix Hills for over 20 years and have tried every cleaners close by my home. I found Hom’s about 7 years ago and wish I had found them sooner. The owner Mark is always there and is so friendly and really knows his business. He gets stains out better than anyone I’ve ever been too and is always so accommodating. Gets the collar and cuffs of dress shirts as white as new. If they can’t get them clean, it’s time to get rid of the shirt. A little pricey but worth it for the job they do. Friendly staff and the parking lot is more than accommodating.

Talk about a find! This is a well-run and friendly family business that knows their dry cleaning. I’m sure most of you have white button down shirts that have “dirty” collars. Well, I suggest you bring it to Homs and you won’t be disappointed. I gave my former dry cleaner multiple chances to remove the “dirt” and they didn’t succeed. I’m a true believer of Homs and as long as I live within a convenient driving distance to them, I’m a Homs customer for life. P.S. Their hours of operations aren’t your usual – specifically their days, open Tuesday to Saturday – so mind when you drop off and when need your stuff.
